Black Belt - 1st Dan

Black Belt - 1st Dan is the 13th level of the system and the 1st level of instructor.

At this level, the disciple will be able to run a school along side a Master Instructor.

A minimum of one year is required before becoming eligible for 2nd Dan.

Black Belt level self defense technique should demonstrate a confident ability to escape from every single attack style as well as multiple encounters.

At this level, the disciple will learn 4 new forms:
Shikata Koori "The Method of Ice",
Shikata Kinzoku "The Method of Metal",
Shikata Kanetsu "The Method of Heat", and
Shikata Sagiri "The Method of Fog".
