Master Instructors

Master Instructors are students who have achieved 4th Dan Black Belt and dedicated themselves to the system.
A Master Instructor has learned all forms, techniques, methods, exercises, and philosophies associated with the system
and will have successfully demonstrated them. They will oversee multiple Dojos as primary instructor and will generally have
at least one Assistant Instructor or Instructor as a secondary.

There are four levels of Master Instructor:

1st level: 4th Dan
4th Dan is the first level of Master Instructor which constitutes a supreme understanding of Yoso Te
and the title of Sensei. Upon completion of the 4th Dan test, the disciple is now permitted to promote
any rank up to 3rd Dan as well as promotion of Assistant Instructors and Instructors.

By 4th Dan, the disciple will have been training for a minimum of 10 years.
2nd level: 5th Dan
5th Dan is the second level of Master Instructor which constitutes a supreme understanding of Yoso Te
and the title of Sensei. Upon completion of the 5th Dan test, the disciple is permitted to promote
any rank up to 4th Dan as well as promotion of Assistant Instructors and Instructors.

By 5th Dan, the disciple will have been training for a minimum of 14 years.
3rd level: 6th Dan
6th Dan is the third and higherst level of Master Instructor which constitutes a supreme understanding of Yoso Te
and the title of Sensei. Upon completion of the 6th Dan test, the disciple is permitted to promote
any rank up to 5th Dan as well as promotion of Assistant Instructors and Instructors.

By 6th Dan, the disciple will have been training for a minimum of 19 years.
4th level: 7th Dan
7th Dan is the fourth and highest level of Master Instructor and is bestowed the title of Grand Master
which constitutes a supreme understanding of Yoso Te and the title of Shihan.
Upon completion of the 7th Dan test, the disciple is now permitted to promote any rank up to 6th Dan
as well as promotion of Assistant Instructors and Instructors.

By 7th Dan, the disciple will have been training for a minimum of 25 years.
7th Dan is the highest achievable rank in Yoso Te.
The only individual permitted to promote to 7th Dan is the Soke of Yoso Te.
